Online creators may be considered when their parent or legal guardian provides written authorization and remains involved in communication and approvals.
Players ages 13–17 may join an academy or development roster and may participate only in approved online tournaments.
Starting, substitute, and other formal competitive roster positions are restricted to adults age 18 or older.
Minors may not participate in organization-sponsored LAN events, travel, lodging, transportation, meetups, or other in-person competition activities.
Element Esports does not accept participants under 13. A person must be 18 or older for staff, management, coaching, moderation, business, team-staff, or formal competition roles.
02 / WRITTEN PARENTAL PERMISSION
A minor may submit an eligible application with guardian knowledge, but may not be accepted, onboarded, given role access, represented as a member, or entered into an activity until Element Esports receives and verifies written permission from a parent or legal guardian.
The permission record must identify the minor and guardian, confirm the guardian’s relationship and reliable contact information, identify the approved Creator or Academy/Development pathway, acknowledge the volunteer-only nature of participation, authorize relevant online communication, and document any separate media, streaming, sponsor, or tournament permissions.
A guardian may withdraw permission in writing at any time. Withdrawal ends the minor’s future participation after reasonable steps are taken to close access, preserve necessary records, and complete any immediate safety or tournament obligations.

04 / ACADEMY & DEVELOPMENT
Minor players may be placed only in academy or development structures. These programs may include online practice, coaching, VOD review, scrims, development planning, and approved online tournaments.
05 / COMMUNICATION RULES
Adult-minor communication must follow the Safeguarding Policy. Organization business should occur through official, logged channels with a guardian or second authorized adult included whenever practical.
06 / PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS
Element Esports may deny, pause, restrict, or end minor participation when written permission is missing or withdrawn; a guardian cannot be reached; platform or tournament requirements are not met; the available staffing cannot support safe supervision; conduct or academic/family obligations create concern; or continued participation would create unreasonable safety, legal, reputational, or operational risk.
Participation is volunteer-only and does not guarantee compensation, sponsorship, prizes, promotion, roster advancement, playing time, content exposure, or future adult placement.
07 / PRIVACY & RECORDS
Minor and guardian information is handled under the Privacy Policy. Element Esports will seek only the information reasonably needed to verify permission, maintain contact, administer the approved pathway, protect safety, and satisfy tournament or legal requirements.
Guardians may request access, correction, or deletion of eligible records by emailing contact@elementesports.com. Some records may be retained when reasonably necessary for safeguarding, disputes, legal obligations, or documented permission history.
08 / REPORTING & CONTACT
Eligibility questions, written permission, and guardian updates may be sent to contact@elementesports.com. Safety or boundary concerns should use the Report a Concern process and be marked “Safeguarding Concern.”
