Shawn Jadron—known online as JaytekGG and most often simply as Jay—co-founded Element Esports with Josh and has helped shape the organization from its beginning. His background in competitive gaming and hands-on work gives him a grounded perspective on teams, people, and the practical realities behind building an esports organization.
Co-founding Element Esports
Jay has been part of Element Esports since its creation. As co-founder and co-owner, he works alongside Josh on the decisions that materially affect the organization—helping evaluate opportunities, challenge assumptions, and establish a direction both founders can support before major plans move forward.
His role is not limited to offering advice. Jay participates in operational discussions, competitive planning, team support, and the practical follow-through needed to turn shared decisions into action. That involvement helps preserve the collaborative foundation on which Element Esports was built.
Competitive roots
Jay’s gaming background began with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. That foundation gave him firsthand familiarity with the communication, coordination, preparation, and trust required in a team-based competitive environment.
He later competed alongside Josh in Apex Legends, including the ALGS Challenger Circuit and various online tournaments. That shared competitive experience required rapid communication, adaptability, and trust, and it gave both founders a common understanding of what players need from their teammates and the organization representing them.
Experience before Element
Before starting Element Esports, Jay and Josh both moved through staff and leadership roles in several esports organizations and gaming communities. Jay experienced the practical side of supporting teams, participating in community leadership, and helping organizations make decisions beyond what happens in-game.
Those experiences gave the founders useful examples of what they wanted to carry forward and what they wanted to approach differently. Jay’s perspective helps Element Esports remain attentive to communication, realistic expectations, player support, and the follow-through required to build trust over time.
Work and operations
Outside esports, Jay has worked across retail customer service, stocking, and warehouse environments. Those roles require reliability, patience, organization, and the ability to work with both customers and coworkers while keeping day-to-day operations moving.
That experience contributes to his practical approach inside Element Esports. He understands that consistent work behind the scenes—communicating clearly, handling routine responsibilities, and supporting the people around you—is what allows the more visible parts of an organization to succeed.
Leadership perspective
Jay provides an important second executive perspective. He helps slow down decisions when they need more consideration, identifies concerns that may not be obvious at first, and contributes ideas that strengthen the final direction without adding unnecessary complexity.
His leadership is collaborative and direct. Rather than needing to own every small task, Jay focuses his attention where discussion, agreement, and shared accountability matter most—especially when a decision could shape the organization, its teams, or its reputation over time.
Family and responsibility
As a father, Jay also brings a perspective shaped by responsibility beyond gaming. Balancing family, work, and organizational involvement reinforces the value of dependable commitments, realistic expectations, and using time where it can have the greatest impact.
That perspective supports the kind of culture Element Esports wants to build: competitive, ambitious, and serious about improvement, while still recognizing that the people behind the tags have real lives, responsibilities, and priorities outside the game.
Looking forward
Jay’s continued role gives Element Esports continuity as it grows. He helps ensure that new teams, staff, partnerships, and opportunities remain connected to the values and working relationship that established the organization in the first place.
As Element Esports develops, his focus remains on making sound decisions, supporting competitive operations, and helping the organization grow without losing the collaborative identity at its core.
